Privacy Policy

Valenor Capital Management sp. z o.o. and its affiliates ("Valenor", "we", "us") respect your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of our business, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is designed to satisfy the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended ("CCPA/CPRA"), and other applicable international privacy laws.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, email address, company, position, and message content submitted through our contact form or by email; subscription details for our newsletter; information provided in fundraising materials or business correspondence.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referral source, and approximate location derived from IP, collected through server logs and cookies described below.
  • Information from third parties: publicly available professional information (for example, LinkedIn profiles, company registries, press) used to evaluate investment opportunities and maintain business relationships.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site (for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference) and, only with your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting site function.

3. How we use personal data

  • Responding to enquiries and managing business relationships;
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and conducting diligence;
  • Sending the newsletter and firm communications you have requested;
  • Operating, securing and improving this website;
  • Complying with legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering and tax obligations applicable to an investment firm.

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: (a) your consent (newsletter, optional cookies); (b) performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (investment discussions, LP relations); (c) legitimate interests (evaluating opportunities, securing our systems, maintaining professional relationships), balanced against your rights; and (d) legal obligation (regulatory and AML requirements).

5. International transfers

Valenor operates from Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), together with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: enquiry correspondence typically up to 24 months; investment and LP records for the periods required by fund documentation and financial regulation (generally 7–10 years); newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Data is then deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent at any time; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland, the UODO; in the UK, the ICO). California residents additionally have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — Valenor does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA — and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. 8. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

9. Children

This website and our services are directed at professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@… and we will delete it.

10. Third parties

We share personal data only with: service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, email, analytics, fund administration) under data-processing agreements; professional advisers under duties of confidentiality; regulators and authorities where legally required; and counterparties in a corporate transaction involving the firm, subject to appropriate protections. We never sell personal data.
